Saba is an Iranian American Muslim from the Bay Area, California. She is a rising second-year student at the University of California, Davis majoring in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning. She is excited to work at her university’s Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian (MENASA) Student Resources center as a Community Organizer for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.

Saba is committed to sustainability, community growth, and social justice. She values Spec Matters’ mission of creating an accessible and actionable future built on a healthy and sustainable environment. She hopes to apply her passions at Spec Matters and further her career development.

Saba is interested in pursuing education and policy work in the future. She aspires to see sustainability built into everyday systems that bring together community involvement and support. In her free time, Saba enjoys learning, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
