DID YOU KNOW:

Green Seal Certification first set standards for paints and coatings in1993 and was the first to set limits on VOCs. Today, Green Seal is still the only standard in this product category to restrict carcinogens, reproductive toxins, hazardous air pollutants, alkylphenol ethoxylates, and many other toxic chemicals, protecting human health while meeting performance expectations.1

Benjamin Moore’s Eco Spec paint is a 100% acrylic paint which has achieved Green Seal Certification.  It has zero VOCs, zero emissions and is low odor.  It is quick-drying and can be used in both commercial and residential projects.  Benjamin Moore has also developed technology to account for colorants which often introduce new toxicants into the base paint formulas.  Their patented technology ensures that Eco Spec remains zero-VOC even after color is added.2

EcoSpec was also the first paint product to receive Greenguard certification, undergoing a series of emissions tests, making it an asthma- and allergy-friendly product as well.3
