Averi Lassiter is currently in pursuit of learning all things related to sustainable interior design. As long as she can remember she has been interested in how spaces are laid out and decorated. She was drawn to the sustainability aspect during her first internship at an interior design store when she realized how little consideration was given to the impact that products and their packaging have on the earth.
Averi received her B.A. in Sociology, minoring in Environmental Studies from the College of Wooster. She has spent time working on farms in New Zealand, New York City, and Maryland before deciding to return to her true passion of sustainable interior design. Averi is currently enrolled in an interior design program at UCLA, as well as taking other courses about sustainability, including a course on vegan design. In her spare time she take virtual walks to far flung places accompanied by her rescue dog Ziggy and likes to experiment with recipes from NYT cooking.
